SNUBA® Divemaster Program offers all PADI courses from Open Water Diver to Divemaster that focus on the hands-on, life training you need to become a successful dive professional.

All Inclusive Divemaster Program Experience

Through the Divemaster Program, you will be able to learn a vast amount of different specialties ranging from photography/videography, search & recovery diving, to navigating the dive sites throughout the Keys, but also such things as equipment maintenance, working with compressors, and learning a dive shop day-to-day operations.
What truly makes the difference is how many different operations we run through one shop; Private sandbar charters, daily SNUBA trips and cocktail cruises. Working alongside your training staff will allow you to gain knowledge in customer service, bartending, and networking. These skills can be applicable to most jobs, thus allowing you to be a versatile asset to any company you work for.

The length of time the program takes will vary depending on your previous experience. From “Zero to Hero” (Open water thru Divemaster) is a two month time commitment. Previous certification will progress you further through the program. Any certifications from agencies other than PADI are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
This dive program is all-inclusive, including your accommodation, and is priced at $1000 dollars/ + tax per week, with a maximum stay of two months to complete your program. To reserve your spot a 25% deposit is required, and your program must be paid in full prior to start.
As us locals know all too well, housing is extremely limited down here in the Florida Keys, which is why we try to alleviate that stress by opening up our fully furnished home to any prospective students. Housing is on a first come first-serve basis, with a minimum stay of 28 days.

We are fortunate to have over 10 dive sites all around Key West that allow us to offer all types of dive experiences. We have both shallow dive sites both inland and out on the reef that are perfect for an open water course. Just a few miles off of Key West is the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world. A couple of other dive sites worth mentioning are the Cayman Salvager and the Vandenburg wreck, where you would dive during your advanced certification.
Our dive house is located on Big Pine Key, which is about 35 minutes from downtown Key West. The drive from there is one of the most scenic routes you can take due to the beautiful environment surrounding Overseas Highway, or US-1.
Our Dive house is located on a canal, which allows for direct water access for activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking. Once you become familiar with the area there are a plethora of different parks, restaurants, museums, and beaches.
All students will be provided with a Key West Shuttle pass. Our dive house is located right next to the Key West Shuttle bus stop in Big Pine Key which offers direct transit (half hour) to our marina in Key West. The shuttle schedule will be posted for each day for training logistics. Students are more than welcome to drive down in their own car on a first come/ first serve basis. There are limited off-street parking spots available right in front of the house.
SNUBA guides take visitors on an underwater guided tour. SNUBA is a cross between snorkeling and scuba diving where guests are able to dive down to about 20 feet while breathing through a regulator that is connected to a tank floating on the surface.
After your divemaster certification you will officially be a PADI professional diver; while we do not guarantee employment with our company directly after completion, roles are available for those who qualify. If any positions are not open, program management will assist in job placement through SNUBA international elsewhere.
This program is designed to be focused primarily on diving. While we understand the need to work, full-time or part-time employment is not plausible due to the rigorous nature. You will have free time, but we encourage you to use that time to enjoy the Keys! By completing the Zero-to-Hero program, there will be endless opportunities to pursue careers in the diving or SNUBA industry after the two month period.
If you are already previously certified you are more than welcome to come train up to divemaster, this will still require the minimum 28 day stay, at a $1000/ week; Including but not limited to: accommodation, unlimited diving, rental gear, discounted gear packages, PADI fees, SNUBA guide certification and Divemaster certification.
For students looking to take courses a la-carte , all courses are offered and individually priced on our courses page. Housing is not included for individual courses.
There is no experience required to start the program: although, to start your divemaster certification will require a minimum of 40 dives, and to complete the program will require 60 logged dives, these will all be included with the cost of your program.
Key West is one of the few places in the United States, where diving can happen all year round. Being close to the equator supplies Key West with gorgeous tropical weather all year round, with our coldest temperatures only being in the low 70’s.
All rental gear is included with the cost of your program! Student gear packages are also available for purchase to Divemaster students at a highly discounted rate which is much cheaper than buying each piece individually.
The house comes fully furnished and ready for you to move in. You will have a room with a bed provided, but any bedding material or other items for the room should be brought (i.e: TV, hangers, storage bins, laundry supplies, and toiletries) We do offer dive gear packages if you do not own equipment already through our dive shop. Any gear that you do own, you can bring with you.
Whether you are a local or just visiting, we have course packages available to meet your needs. If you are interested in diving, but not sure that you can meet the minimum requirements for staying in our dive house; we have you covered! We do offer individual dive courses, where you can do certifications at different times and not a consecutive two months of training. Lastly, if you are located in the Keys or looking to relocate and do not want to stay in our dive house, but complete the Divemaster program that is also an option.
